  2. KeyWack version 1.3 ｩ1992/1993 by Paul Duffy of E&P Ware.

  5. This is a game for babies who like to sit at their parentﾕs Mac and bang the
  6. keyboard. Keywack prevents babies from accidentally opening most programs or
  7. documents, and makes banging even more fun by drawing shapes and playing random
  8. sounds as the keys are wacked.

  10. You can also click with the mouse to place a shape at a particular location.
  11.  
  12. The ﾒClear Screenﾓ dialog allows you to set the number of shapes drawn before
  13. the screen is cleared. Choose ﾒNever clear the screenﾓ if you donﾕt want the
  14. screen cleared.

  16. Sound can be turned on or off with the ﾒSound off/onﾓ command.

  18. This program works with any Mac (with System 6.0.2 or higher) but looks best on
  19. one with color.

  26. Adding sounds to Keywack
  27.  
  28. You can add sounds to KeyWack using a resource editor (such as ResEdit) as long 
  29. you set their resource ID number to something greater than 1000. 
  30.  
  31. If you have system 7 you can drop a file containing sound resources onto the
  32. KeyWack icon. If the file contains any sound resources they will be played,
  33. one at a time, and a dialog will appear asking you if you would like to add the 
  34. last sound played.
  35. (You may have to rebuild the desktop for this feature to work if you have an 
  36. older version of KeyWack installed on you Mac.)

  43. failed to free up the sound channels it used, causing sound to be shut off

  57. down. Access to the Apple and the Help menus has been removed. (Sorry, I don't
  58. think I can shut off the Application menu (far right in system 7) without removing 
  59. all access to menu commands.)
